Bindweed has taken over my garden. HELP

Any tips to get rid of the vile bindweed please anyone?

Just pull it out - it will come easily. Then keep an eye on it and pull it out everytime you see some coming up. You can use systemic weed killer on the leaves to go down and kill the roots but first of all just pull out as much as you can.

Depends on how prolific I had ground elder which was a shit - I fenced it all in and then bunged in 7 chickens - within two weeks it was clear. Periodically bunged them back in over the next 4 months - it never came back
