Perennial Geraniums - pervasive?

Saw on another thread it mentioned that geraniums can spread quite a bit.

I bought a pack of 6 and am surprised at how they’ve grown and seem to be overrunning the small hebe plant and the agapanthus beside it.

I’m wondering if I should transfer some of it?

The 'pervasiveness' of geraniums is part of their popularity. It's great to have a few reliable thugs.Grin
The definition of a weed is 'wrong plant in the wrong place' so your original geraniums are fine but the over-runners are weeds. Dig them out and either give them to friends & family or put them somewhere else in the garden.
It's one of the rules of garden design to have repetition: it creates rhythm, harmony and unity.

Here's an RHS guide, which mentions geraniums in its list.

@senua - had no idea!! Thought I was using them as a bit of filler. The thing is I’m not even keen on their colour which is a very bright pink.

Will defo be digging some up!

DS was given a very small one as a young Kid and it's now almost taken over the bed it's in. Luckily it's a very small bed so I've let it get away with its thuggishnes, for now anyway Wink
