Garden newbie I have questions .

What’s going on with this lavender ? I planted it a few months ago and it looks very splayed out and spindly.

I also got these daisies from a charity sale , they have grown loads and I love them but I noticed a few days ago that the leaves have started to turn brown. Are they dying ? What should I be doing ?

Lavender is just doing what lavender does. Once the plants have grown a bit it won’t look so obvious. Once they’ve finished flowering, prune all the branches, but make sure you don’t go lower than where leaves are growing - they don’t always grow back from old wood. Pruning helps them stay nice and compact, not straggly.

Daisy - possibly hasn’t liked the hot weather. I wouldn’t worry. It’ll have a whole new set of leaves next year.

if it makes u feel better. My lavender is the same just bigger. This thing is huge and it just flops everywhere. And my Daisy plants look the same as well. I’m a beginner too so I worry as well.
