Hi all , so my cuttings are turning brown up top. There no chance for them is there?

They look to me like they had a bit too much leaf left on them.

If the growing tip in the center is still green, they definitely have a chance.

Thanks for reminding me to deal with mine!

Thanks @CatherinedeBourgh I will cut off some leaf on the ones who's growing centre is still green. Do they need a certain amount of leaf or can I just leave a bare minimum?

I've managed to root them with hardly any leaf at all, but of course having some leaf will help.

Leave about a postage stamp area of leaf in total.

I also have mine deeper into the compost, about 2/3 of the cutting in the compost. I’d have completely filled those pots, so there was more depth of compost.

Also, put the caps back on those bottles! I put mine, pot and all, in a plastic bag, then tie the top so none of the moist air can get out.
