Best app for managing garden?

Has anyone found a good gardening app? I'm looking for one where I can input the names of my plants, and it will send me reminders of when the plant needs pruned or given fertiliser etc. I am rubbish at this, especially the pruning, and my plants suffer!

Does it exist, or should I be making my fortune by developing one? 😀

The lovely people at the Crocus website have made an app called IRIS that does that. I'm using it for the first time this year and it seems pretty good; you add the name of each plant, and the app will give you monthly care tips.

Pruning. - rule of thumb, just after flowering. Unless that takes you into autumn in which case wait till late winter.

Have a look at the RHS - they have a good “what to do this month” page in their monthly magazine, which is replicated on their website, and they may do an app.

Thanks for the suggestions! The Iris app looks promising and looking on the RHS website they seem to have a similar service although it's web-based rather than an app. I shall give them a try!

I've just downloaded the Iris app and have added some plants. Does anyone know if there is a way of adding plants which Crocus don't sell? I have Delphinium Elatum Magic Fountains which isn't listed (plus others), I'm assuming it's because Crocus don't sell it.
