Could this be anything other than clematis wilt?

Hi,

I’ve got 3 clematis on trellis in my garden. 2 are looking healthy but when I looked out my window this morning I noticed the leaves on one looked all wilted. None are brown yet they’ve just flopped.

is there anything else this could be? It’s the whole of the plant so I’d have to cut it right back to the ground if it is. There’s a few buds on it too so I was excited for a second flowering this year.

Could this be anything other than clematis wilt?

Do you think it might be really dry after the last few weeks and need a good soaking at the base ?

I don’t think so, because the ones right next to it are fine. This one does have a lavender next to it though. Could that be sucking up all the water?

Definitely water it. Do you feed your Clematis? I wouldn't do it whilst it's so dry, but at some point. Was there a Clemetis planted in that same spot previously, because if that plant died from Clematis wilt, this one might as well.
I think that's correct.

Yeah, we feed the whole garden once a fortnight. I’ve given it a water tonight and I’ll water it tomorrow as well and see if there is any improvement
