I'm already planning what to buy. It's only a few weeks away. I'm hoping to get a Munstead Wood, and a couple of standards, hopefully Gabriel Oak.

Munstead Wood looks beautiful - but I thought you bought bare root roses for planting in the winter.

I'm planning ahead to October. It's just 8 weeks away. I definitely don't want to buy any potted roses to buy during this dry weather, so planning ahead to Autumn, when it should hopefully be easier to establish plants

I got mine from David Austin. ( can’t remember the name ) it’s a climbing one.

I went with them as I knew the after care was great. And it has been.

Go with bare root David Austin - they usually have an offer in winter 15% off.

Can't comment on Munstead Aldi not have it but Gabriel Oak I received earlier in year and really pleased with it. That said I have about 20 DA roses and have been happy with all of them.

Customer service is excellent.

I love their chat function. As a new Gardner they have helped me so much

My favorite rose is Blush Noisette - very easy to grow and with amazing scent. And next one is Laurette (rugosa) - cranberry colored canes (nearly thornless) and pastel-pink flowers. Here is good growing guide if you are looking for one:

Enjoy your roses😊
