Fox will not destroy my shrub will it?

At the back of our garden is an enormous shrub that has probably been there for decades to be that big (diameter is c. 2-3m!). I've just noticed there may be a fox den under it because there are cubs. No idea how long they have been there because I have just moved in a few months ago.

I actually quite like foxes so don't mind them hanging in there. But will that destroy the shrub?

No, a fox earth under your shrub will not harm it in any way - badgers and foxes frequently have their setts and earths in close proximity to, or under, trees and shrubs, with no ill effects

Lovely, thank you!
