Watering Can dunking basin - what's that called?

I'm looking for a container that I can put under my tap, there's a drain under it, that I can fill with water and use to dunk watering can in or put plants that need some water in to soak. And I can't think what it's called...

Whitney168 · 29/07/2022 13:23

This kind of thing? Galvanised ones are also available, obviously, but pricier.

What about a flexitub?
Does the trick, cheap, got handles for manoeuvrability, multi-use. What's not to like?

IcakethereforeIam · 29/07/2022 15:05

I use one of those rubberised builder's buckets, it's so useful. I've mixes compost in it, harvested and washed potatoes, ideal to keep the outside tap running into to I'm not constantly turning it off, wasting water or waiting for the watering can to fill. Because it's got handles and is flexible I can use it as a funnel. Scrub flower pots and bird feeders. Mix up plant food. Really useful. Can sometimes be picked up for free at the side of the road. It's light and doesn't bark your shins.

Apparently it's called a flexitub, thank you @senua
