Has my ficus died?

I have a large ficus tineke which was getting too large so I thought I would split into 3 as I think they were originally planted as 3 plants in one pot.

Since splitting over a month ago, my poor ficus leaves have dropped ever since. Does anyone know if they are dead. I wish I never split them now as it was so healthy before!!

Trim the dying leaves off, give them a feed of baby bio and wait and see. Are the in a spot that gets a lot of hot sun? If so move to somewhere slightly cooler

I expect having the root ball pulled apart has destroyed some of the roots. Usually only the very tips of fibrous roots have the root hairs that take up water from the soil and some of these may have been lost, so the plants can't get enough water into their systems to support themselves. I would water plentifully with a feed containing potash to assist new root growth and hope that helps in time.

Thank you both. I’ll do as advised and give them a little more time to see if they show
any signs of recovery, I do hope so.
