A plant ID please

Please can anyone identify this one? I'm in a group of about 15 people and no one knows what it is

It’s sedge grass and it’s an absolute and utter thug.

I don't know but I recommend the free app called Plantnet. You scan a pic and upload it and it analyses it.

Ie a sedge and not a grass. Different families.

Dig it out and dispose.... and again...and again......!!!

Pendulous sedge. Its very nice and likes a damp and shady spot.

Sedge, and it is on a mission to take over your garden... and next door... actually the whole damn road.

I have one I like it but I have to be fairly brutal with it, and am forever digging up its children.
