Getting my hands on a particular heliotrope

I've just come across mention of heliotropium arborescens 'Chatsworth', which apparently smells strongly of cherry pie. Now I absolutely need some for my scratch and sniff patio; I love the smell of cherries. But I can't find any available online. Can you ask garden centres to get things in for you?

Many different heliotrope's smell like cherry pie - they're sometimes known as the cherry pie plant infact!

I'd put your name down to be emailed when it comes back in stock.

Or try growing from seed:

The only way to find out about garden centres is to try asking those near you.

It may be that your search for 'Chatsworth' is overly specific. I just tried looking for 'cherry pie heliotrope', there seem to be some other varieties. But they do seem to all be out of stock, I think you may simply be a bit too late for this year.

Actually Sarah Raven have a few plants left in the sale - 3 for £6 isn't bad OP!
