Looks lije it might have trails but doesn't. It had some sort of flower when I got it but hasn't flowered again in 2 years.

Thanks!

If you open the picture on an iphone and swipe up, you'll find an option to identify the plant.

It tells its a pothos, and I know it's not...

My plant ID app says Philodendron.

Also I have an IPhone and it doesn’t have the option in photos to id plants. 🙁

I recommend an app called ‘Picture This’. It identifies plants, trees etc. I’ve been using it for a few years and it’s brilliant, especially away from home when I see something I’d like in my own garden. Very occasionally it can’t identify something, but it’s rare.

But is it a paying app?

I think it's an anthurium

But is it a paying app?

I pay a fee each year, but for us gardeners, I think it’s worth every Penny!

MereDintofPandiculation · 27/06/2022 22:44

If you are using an app, how do you know it’s giving you the tight answer?

MereDintofPandiculation · 27/06/2022 22:45

Right answer

Anniesnap, I am no gardner and have 8 plants in total so, thanks for the recommendation but will pass.

The plant is fine by the way, I was just trying to find out if I can propagate it.

Anthurium confirmed. So the iPhone identification was wrong.

Right answer

Once the app has given me a name, I will then look the plant up on (RHS or similar), either for information on habit and care if it’s in my garden, or for more information including that, if I’m looking to get one for my garden.
