What have you got in your borders that is beautiful and low maintenance?

Gaillardia (Blanket flower). Grew yellow ones from Poundland seeds last year & they flowered first year and are great this year. Got reds ones this year & they are looking even better although in the first year.

The sweet Williams that I saved from the B&Q doom section last year have survived & are amazing this year.

New England Asters are almost indestructible.

Also, aliums, and especially, nectaroscordum siculum. Nectaroscordum is so much fun, the moment it opens it is mobbed by bumbles, it is magical.
