Container grown roses

I'd like to buy some container grown roses as the supplier has a large discount on the variety I'm looking for and I'm buying five of them. However, there are currently some other shrubs in place which I won't be able to move until the autumn. Could I keep the roses in the containers for the next few months and then transplant them in autumn?

Yes, feed and water them. drying out would be the biggest problem, so keep on top of that. If needs be you can pot them on - but you shouldn't have to.
