I have two lots of sweet peas. Both of them are dying from the bottom up. The leaves are just going like a yellow colour. And then dead. I have checked for aphids. They are both really really large so planters. I am watering regularly. What am I doing wrong

If they’re in planters they need loads of water and feeding. I’ve only really had success in planters when the pot is 50cms across and I have put a water and feed reservoir in the middle.
good news is that they’re not dead, so don’t let them dry out and a feed once a week.

As they produce new leaves at the top, the bottom leaves are less needed for photosynthesis (and they’re shaded by the top leaves) so the plant recycles the nutrients in the bottom leaves and they die.

Thanks. That makes me feel better.
