I need to fill a lot of planters and borders quickly (work, not home). I’m thinking busy lizzies and petunias will probably fill the spaces nicely enough, with some of the white and purple filler plants (I don’t know what they are - maybe aubretia?).

Have you seen any in supermarkets or similar? Our local stores are tiny so only have a few. I’m going to need to make a trip somewhere bigger. B&M, Lidl, Tesco, garden centre in (faraway) reach.

B&M and Wilco have loads. Wilcos are often better in towns than city stores.

Morrisons have lots and are reasonably priced.

You can get some good plants at these types of bargain stores but they are not plant nurseries! Some shops really do not look after the plants (let them get wind-scorched, don't water them, etc) so do check the quality before you buy.

Lidl or Aldi?
