Laburnum

I've got a laburnum (oak leafed) arriving tomorrow. I was going to put it by the front gate, the garden is raised about 6 foot off the roadway so I thought it would trail attractively. The garden is 12 metres across and about 10 metres deep. Am I going to regret this!

Why would you regret it? Lurburnam are beautiful trees, if I had space I'd plant one.

Their habit tends to be narrow at the bottom and wider at the top, like an upside-down pyramid, so it should be fine.
