Anyone know why the leaves on my peony are discoloured? I have no idea what variety it is. Planted as a bulb last year

Doesnt look like a peony to me - does it have a name? Yellow usually means lack of nitrogen so a good feed might help.

Is that a peony?

Bunce1 · 17/05/2022 14:37

Are you sure it’s a peony? The leaves look too big.

Close up of the base. Two eyes this year came up.

Another one I think I also bought from Wilco and planted at the same time, also has two eyes and a flower. It’s planted about a metre away from the one that’s going yellow and spotty

it is a peony.

lack of nitrogen doesn't manifest itself as spots. That looks more like a virus or previous insect damage. The dark green of the leaves shows it’s getting plenty of nutrient. Don’t feed.

ThisisMax · 18/05/2022 08:35

Thats a virus Im afraid. You need to destroy it.

Namechange357 · 19/05/2022 15:00

Oh no, so dig it out and scrap it? How do I prevent the others from getting virus?
