Are these old crocosmia corms alive

I’ve just found a bag my mum gave me a couple of years ago. I’d planted some out at the time and the rest obviously got lost amongst my junk pile of gardening bits.

Green shoots seem to have developed, they’re obviously dry so I’ve dunked them in a bucket of water. Is it worth planting them out?

Crocosmia is practically impossible to kill. I dug out a load of corms recently and more are still coming up. So yes they will survive - just make sure you put them where you really want them to be!

Thank you. I’m sticking them in pots as my mum warned me about them when she gave them to me😁
