I've just purchased some small aspargus ferns ( not crowns) and globe artichoke for my lotty. How big do the aspargusbhave to be before planting out. I'm currently preparing the bed with fertiliser and sharp sand. Any other tips please? I know I need to leave them for 3 years.
In respect of my globe artichokes, will they do ok in very large pots? I've watched videos but they all seem to be in the US so not sure if weather will make a difference. Thanks.
