Summer bulbs

I keep seeing bargain packs of bulbs to “plant now for summer colour”. Is it too late for this year? Things like freesias, gladioli, crocosmia, peonies, lupins, lilies. They’ll be going in pots while I deal with mg disaster of a border then in the ground afterwards.

I did mine a few weeks ago. I checked the packets and it said I could plant in may. So I did. They were not a huge amount of money so I gambled

I did mine late last year and they were good. They’d started to sprout in the packets but were fine.

Should be fine :)
