Which seeds would I buy, and would it be ok in pots ?

You need a “loose leaf” or “salad bowl” type. Some varieties here. Yes, they”ll be fine in an 8inch diameter pot

the smaller the pots the more often you need to water.
if you like peppery taste mustard or rocket are great.

Look at Pennard Plants online - they have loads of different varieties and they are really easy to grow. We grow them on the patio in small troughs and plant every month for a regular supply.
