Can anyone give me recommendations whether climbing roses do better on a trellis or straining wires or no difference? Venturing out for my first claiming rose

usually a climbing rose will go on a trellis and a rambler on wires. The climbing rose has an upright habit and the branches might snap if you force them on to wires

David Austin says either but seems to veer towards wires. We’ve just planted 2 with wires. Looking at the width of the rose as it grows trellis just wouldn’t be wide enough a d it would flop.
