Morning all.
I have had so much help from this place since I started gardening a few months ago. Which has been wonderful Smile

I have been experimenting with growing seeds on my window ledges. Just to see what grows and what doesn’t. Turns out it is a magical place and everything grows and now I have more than I can handle.

But I planted these a few days ago. It was a mixed packet of climber flowers. And it doesn’t tell u on the packet what they are. But these ones have come up in two days. Anyone know what they are ?

Help identifying a seedling please.

The leaves are the first seed leaves, you really need for the next true leaves to emerge before an identification can accurately be made.

It reminds me of our ipomoea (grandpa Ott) which is an annual climber, related to bindweed I think, but not a perennial weed like bindweed.
If it is ipomoea, the opening leaves will be symmetrical and heart shaped. Grows quickly and is very pretty, can be purple or sky blue.

I seem to remember that the cotyledons (seed leaves) of Ipomoea are strange two-lobed things when they open, one of the few plants with recognisable cotyledons

Yes, Mere that describes them better and they are very recognisable. OP will know for sure in a couple of days!
