Please help identify this weed?

Dear Mumsnetters
Can you help identify this weed that is growing under our hedge, on the edge of our lawn? And any advice on getting rid of it? Thank you.

Haven’t a clue but we have moved and our large garden is suddenly covered in this in damp and dark areas of garden!!!

Is it very low to the ground? In which case it might be "mind your own business" which is lovely.

Assuming this is what I think it is (yellow flowers) it's also called Creeping Jenny.

No, it’s not Creeping Jenny, which has its leaves more spread out along the stem. Mind Your Own Business
