Strimmer recommendations sought

Please can anyone recommend me a strimmer?

It needs to be

a) cordless

b) fairly lightweight

c) have a spool that's easily replaceable

and, ideally, under £80.

I've been using a cheapo Ozito with blades, but the arthritis in my hands is now so bad that I can't replace the blades when they break.

TIA.

We just bought this one which I'm pretty impressed with. Note the £54 price is without batteries. Add 1 battery and it'll go up to £84...

Not sure if the link works but it's a Black and Decker STC1820PC 18v Cordless Grass Trimmer 280mm

Absolutely recommend this! We have the B & D cordless hedge trimmer also. Since they use the same type of battery you can swap over to get a longer session. In fact we've never needed to, but it's handy to have that option. They are very light to handle.

Thank you, people!

I've ordered the B&D one, and it was very difficult comparing prices because some are sold with the battery, some with battery and charger, and some without either. I got the whole lot for £91, although I probably could have shaved a few pounds if I hadn't been losing the will to live.

It should be here on Tuesday, so hopefully the top part of the garden, which is too steep and uneven to mow, will be less of an eyesore by the end of the week.

Good stuff @LakieLady - fingers crossed you like it as much as we do! Smile
