Fuschias

I have bought a bush fuschia, quite large about 30cm tall, and put it in a pot already. Will it survive do you think or is it too early?

Similarly I have two trailing fuschias and they are pot bound already. When could I safely put them out?

It depends whether it's a hardy Fuchsia or not. Unless it says it's a hardy Fuchsia, best to assume it's not.

Fuchsia is named after the botanist Leonhart Fuchs (ie Mr Fox) - it helps in remembering how to spell it.

Thank you, I doesn't say at all so maybe I shall bring it in overnight for a while. Sorry for misspelling. Its one of those words that I can never remember how to spell

Excellent tip for spelling fuchsia

U have identified it, its Fuchsia Tom Thumb. The trailing ones won't be but decided to keep those in until end of next month.
