Ok so we found some bulbs and planted them all few weeks back and have been watering them and looking after them. One of them has came up looking like a dandilion leaf!! Does anyone know of any other plants that start out looking like a weed but are not?

That's a dandelion. Probably a seed made its way into your compost.

I miss read the title as weed so I was confused to come on and see what looks like a dandelion Grin

It only a weed if you don't want it. Dandies are bright, early colour, with interesting leaf shapes and seed heads. Embrace the dandelion!

Don’t let it flower, you will have dandelions all over your garden! They put down a very deep taproot and are a nuisance to dig out, plus spread like wildfire.

Definitely a dandelion.

Where did you find the bulbs?

They were form flowers we had last year we had bought quite a few bags of various bulbs and only planted some. I also have another sprouting up in a plant pot with other plants

Invaluable early pollen source. Leaves can be blanched by tying them up in a bundle a few days before harvesting, and used in a salad. Roots can be used as a coffee substitute, or, presumably, as a constituent of dandelion and burdock (a traditional soft drink).
