Greenhouse solar heating

Looking for a heating solution for the greenhouse and thought solar power would be an obvious one as you can get solar lighting but I can't seem to fit a kit. The greenhouse (and shed) doesn't currently have electricity and with prices now I'd probably want to avoid it anyway, and I wanted to avoid anything flammable with the amount of petrol powered stuff in the shed.

Does anyone have one or know is they exist?

I've looked a lot and came to the conclusion they don't exist, which is a bit of a shame.

I use passive solar heating of containers of water stored in the greenhouse. If it's very cold I bring the containers I'm and refill with hot water from the tap, which along with fleece and a picnic blanket over the greenhouse roof, seems to do the tricknin my mini greenhouse.

It really surprised me! I've seen the use of passive heating but wouldn't be so easy as the greenhouse is a bit further than I'd like from the house to be carrying hot water up and down to top up.

Seems paraffin it is.

Apparently a pile of manure will keep your greenhouse nice and warm!

Haha I guess it would! not sure I'd be so keep on pottering in the greenhouse if it smelt like a manure pile though Grin

Can also be done with a compost heap.
