Bedding plants question !

So the last frost here is the end of April. So going to start getting my bedding plants then.

First time doing this. If I get them then how long will they last for? Will I still have them in flower during the summer? I have been googling. But can’t seem to find out a generic answer.

Yes they should flower through the summer, if you regularly dead head them.
I would never plant them out until the end of may though (South of England) Harden off during may if you've grown then from seed, or bought baby ones that have been inside. The wind can still be very cold despite the lack of frost.

Brilliant thanks !!! Should I keep them indoors. Or a greenhouse. Or should I wait a bit to buy them

I’d get them when you see what you want or you run the risk of everyone else buying them! I bought some pelargoniums a few weeks ago- we have what used to be the national collection nearby- and I have them waiting in the greenhouse.

That’s what I’m worried about. I don’t have a greenhouse and I’m guessing they will all be gone

I only got one last year. Before that I’d bung them in a cool, light room (dining room) or in a sheltered spot under a bench that under some trees.
