Can you help identify a plant

Can anyone identify this plant, seen in southern Spain recently.

That looks parasitic, very like the toothworts but they all seem to be in shades of purple. Broomrapes can have yellow tones. Yours looks too yellow for Common Broomrape, but Yellow Broomrape is a plant of mountains in Austria etc. So googling Orobanchaceae yellow led me to a genus of desert plants Cistanche, at least one of which, Cistanche phelypaea, finds its way into the SW Iberian peninsula.

So all Id really be prepared to say is it’s a parasitic plant in the family Orobanchaceae.
