Lupins

My lupins are emerging and getting quite leafy. Is there a way of splitting lupins so I can put some in a new raised bed?

You can take basal cuttings, this is the right time of year, but I don't know if you'd get a flowering plant this year.

Lupins only live 5 or 6 years, I'd be inclined to start afresh, they are very easy to grow from seed.
