Plant ID please?

Any idea what this is? Looks like a blade of grass, but appears to have a little black 'seed' on the end? Look almost like allium seeds, but I assume they aren't actually alliums?

Can’t see any photo, but that does sound like an allium seedling. Most alliums I plant swiftly die, but the ones I got free with a magazine are self-seeding everywhere!

Oddly, I can now see the photo. It may be too soon to say but, when the seedling’s a bit bigger, rub it with a finger and check whether it gives off an oniony smell.
