Is it a weed?

Should I pull it up?

It seems to be growing in patches around the garden.

Poppies?

It's feverfew, Tanacetum parthenium. Some like it, others regard it as a weed. If you don't want it to spread, cut off the flowering stems once they've gone over.

Supposed to be good for migraine, but it's extremely bitter. I don't get migraine but wanted to see what the flavour was like and it was horrible.

Ah thank you.. so it does flower?

Yes, the flowers are quite pretty, like daisies. Doesn't smell very nice though.

I quite like it in my garden - it's pretty, and doesn't spread too quickly un
Ike ruddy alkanet, grrrrr

Yes, feverfew and, yes, infinitely preferably to alkanet!

Feverfew. Poisonous to cats and dogs and can give some people a nasty allergic reaction when they touch it. I put on gloves and dig it out.
