New drive being laid; box moth ahoy in the hedge.

Rethink?

Hampshire, west facing.

Signature central plant, a surrounding hedge? Something mad? 😂

Your thoughts. TIA.

I’d be tempted with strong Annabelle hydrangea.

That said, I really try to put something in for the wildlife. So a nice flowering hebe could be full of bees and butterflies.

Keep the choysia in the middle (is it choysia). and have a mix of different things around the edge to get variety.

Salvia hot lips is tough as anything, has flowers for months and smells nice

or a Hebe would work.

The choisia has spider mite. Should I persist with it?

I’d go with the Hydrangea suggestion and Crainsbill Geraniums around the edge. Both long flowering and liked by bees.
