Salad Burnet?

This popped up last year after I’d sprinkled some wild flower seeds about for the bees. Everything else grew well but this was a little flat plat for ages. I thought I’d leave it and see what it was. It seems to have trembled in size. A plant I.D app thinks it’s salad Burnet. I’ve never heard of it & no clue what to do with it. Is it worth keeping?

Salad burnet is a Sanguisorba, many of which are grown as garden plants. Salad Burnet is a smaller, low growing one, a plant of alkaline grassland, with round, reddish flowerheads. So worth keeping. Leaves allegedly have a cucumber flavour and can be used in salads

You can use it in many dishes from casseroles to salads. Keep.
