Lawn help needed

I garden organically.

I have a lot of brown patches in one lawn.

Any advice what I can use on it to help stimulate growth, that is compatible with organic.

Do you know why it is brown?

Have you tried scarifying and reseeding? That's is what we do with brown patches

Don't know the reason.

It's patchy all over though.

Do you have a female dog?

Yes, but it's not dog-related - I know what that looks like!
