Gaura from seed

I’m trying to grow a few of these from seed to put alongside my path. Once these have germinated can I put them in my south facing greenhouse or do they need to stay indoors until more established?

I have some seedlings in my glazed front porch which seem OK so far, but that is probably a bit warmer than a completely freestanding unheated greenhouse.

Snap. Not a great germination rate, I got 12 seedlings, this is them so far

I started inside and then potted on and moved out to a sheltered bit of the garden to bring them on. Planted them out in final spot at the end of the summer when they'd got to a decent root ball.

My packet was light it should have had 10 seeds but I had 6, all have germinated and are in cold green house looking healthy but quite slow to do anything more.

My friend gave be some ‘bride’ that she sowed last year and they were incredible, coming back strong already.

Great to hear all your experiences with them. My germination rate has been 50%. Meant to be a nice few days here so might get some new ones going on the windowsill

I'm growing from seed for the first time too and theyre still on a sunnyish windowsill, doing OK and most germinated.
However, I took cuttings last year, stuck them in some water and once rooted stuck them in a pot, they've all done well
