Growing an orange tree

I’m trying to grow an orange tree from some pips. No idea what I’m doing. I’ve Googled it and I now have a little pot covered lightly with clingfilm on my sunny window ledge.

Has anyone else done this, any tips gratefully received.

They are easy to germinate, I've had some success like that. The only problem is that they aren't hardy outdoors in the UK climate, and need something like a cool conservatory in the winter. Or ideally an orangery!
