Fast growing hedge

Looking for a fast growing hedge plant.

We have some Griselina; that's sort of what we're looking for. But it's not what you'd call 'fast growing'. Southern Hampshire.

Laurel? There's various bits in my garden and it always seems to need trimming!

Portugeuse laurel. has a little flower, and red stems and a glossy evergreen leaf. We used it to screen a compost bin and it grew very quickly. Easy to trim once its at the required height.
