…between uses ?
I normally just rinse with water, but am going to be doing some veg this year so wondered if I should disinfect them somehow ?

General consensus is that it's better to wash and disinfect between uses. Personally have not found any difference in success rates with washed/unwashed.
For disinfection, I think it's just very diluted bleach. There are other more expensive options that the plant centre will be happy to sell you!
It's when you have a specific fungus /lurgy affecting your plants that you don't want to keep passing it on.
Have fun, I am in the process of buying a house and will completely miss out on the Spring planting. Missing it already.

Thanks for that.

I've never bothered unless something particularly nasty has happened pest wise to a plant.

I usually inspect for slugs, give them a bang to get the dead soil out. I do wash seed trays though.

I wash mine in plain water on a bright sunny day and spread them across the lawn to dry. Sunlight has disinfecting properties.

Anomal Yes sunlight is fab at disinfecting and bleaching everything. It's free and it's easy !
