Has anyone braved the elements and been out yet?

I moved into my house july of last year and have been itching to attack the overgrown borders and thin out the huge daisy clumps etc whilst it's easy
just so cold i cannot do it

how long do i have before things are not so 'moveable' ( i am a great one for shifting trees etc!) once spring comes isit not too late?

Winter's better, but you can move most things at any time as long as you keep them well watered afterwards. It's only bare rooted shrubs that really have to go in before Spring.
