Simple question really, where do you get your seed potatoes? Looking for something like Charlotte and pink fir apple. Last year I bought from our local center and i was pretty disappointed with the quality.

Local garden centre this week. Last year from RHS Wisley. What was the problem?

Usually Garden Centre. If I'm feeling flush, Suttons.

Garden centres. But at the beginning of the 2020 lockdown I got some from Poundland on a whim. They were great!

Wilko are a good place if you just want 'common' varieties.
I was in dobbies this week and was amazed at the quantity and range they had! I was expecting it to be all Mother's Day stuff!

Wilko have the best value seed potatoes.
£2,50 for 2 kg which is way cheaper than the garden centres or seed catalogues. They have a good range of varieties too. I got two bags of Charlottes and have them chatting in egg boxes on my windowsill.

Wilko have always been great for us. Ours are also chitting in eggs boxes at the moment.

Great will try Wilko this weekend. Last year paid £12.99 for 15 sets as they were a slightly unusual variety. Set them to chit but most started going mushy only ended up with 7 out of 15 to plant.
