My Rosemary washout by the storm and it's main stem has torn (see picture) - do you think it's salvageable? Should I take cuttings? It's a real shame as it's just about to flower too.

You could stick some stakes in the ground and tie the waggly branches to them, to stop them moving about. I reckon it will be fine, but you will need to give it a while to repair itself.

I’d try splicing the stems back together and staking into position, but also taking cuttings.

Double pronged approach it is then, cuttings and staking! Fingers crossed I can rescue it
