Fruit trees advice please

I went into Aldi yesterday and they had fruit trees for sale. I am finally in a garden big enough to have more than one but had no idea what to buy. My driveway borders my garden and I would like to plant fruit trees to divide the two areas. Any advice on what trees to pick?

Whichever fruit you enjoy eating! Remember apples and pears are best in pairs because they’re not very good at pollinating.

Whereabouts in the country are you?

Will the trees be above your drive? Falling apples and pears can make quite a dent, and birds perching above cars can get messy.
