Climbing rose question

We moved into our home a few years ago. The long established climbing rose around the front porch (which was beautiful!) had to be chopped right back last Jan as we had the house rendered. It has grown back as per photo. Now, do I let it carry on doing what it’s doing.. or hard prune it back again? It just looks a bit stalky (novice gardening term!)

Climbing roses put out shoots that flower from main stems that are trained to the horizontal. I’d bend the lower stems horizontally under the window and the longer stem horizontally over the top of the window. Any very thin whisky bits can be cut off, they won’t develop any flowers and just take strength from the plant. Also, give it a granular rose feed.
