Ornamental grasses

I’m overhauling my garden and I’d really like to have mostly ornamental grasses. How do I go about sourcing them? I’m going to need a lot - is there some way of buying in bulk so it’s cheaper?

Any recommendations gratefully received!

I have a few ornamental grasses, blue festuca and bronze Carex and Miscanthus

Sorry posted too soon!
I bought mine in garden centres, buying the largest pots available as I found that they split very easily. So a pot would make a group of three plants. They bulked up within a season. Also some of the seeds spread freely giving you little plants.

Knoll Gardens are the best suppliers. Take a look at their website.

I grew some miscanthus from seed, others also grow from seed quite readily. You won't get instant results but maybe mix and match woud be good. Buy decent sized ones from a garden centre to split and also sow some seed.

I used to pass a bit of quaking grass (briza maxima) along a scruffy bit of pavement and picked a few seeds one summer. Now I have quite a lot of pots of it as it seeds itself around very easily. You can buy the seeds online.

I bought some nice ones online from Ashcroft Perennials last year, I got a lovely Pampas grass and some others.
