Window box ideas for a narrow window ledge

Hi everyone, I would love to have a window box however our window ledge is quite narrow - around 7.5mm wide. It looks like we used to have a metal window box holder as there are two large holes either side of the window with a bit of metal sticking out!

I've been trying to find some window box hacks, all I've found is ones where we'd have to screw in a wooden box onto the wall. Does anyone know of any hacks/ideas?

If you want a wider box on there, your three choices are brackets to support it from underneath, metal window box holder (bespoke from blacksmith) or wires from above window to front of box to hold it like a suspension bridge.

If you really don’t want to fasten something to the wall, a pair of table legs at the corners and a really strong base so it doesn’t sag might work
