What tree is this, please?

Can anyone identify this tree for me, please? The fruits turn yellow in autumn and don't seem to be particularly popular with birds.

Have googled pictures of crabapple and pretty sure you got it right! There seem to be about 50 different kinds, so will have to read up and see if any of them might be suitable for my little courtyard garden.

Have googled pictures of crabapple and pretty sure you got it right! There seem to be about 50 different kinds, so will have to read up and see if any of them might be suitable for my little courtyard garden.
There are lots of cultivars that will be happy in a small garden but is this in a container or in the ground?
